NHR 9510-50 Regenerative Grid Simulator

Designed especially for grid-tied applications, the NHR 9510-50 Regenerative Grid Simulator is a sophisticated, high-power testing device. It supports flexible single-phase or three-phase AC configurations and offers a strong output of up to 50kW or 118kVA. In single-phase mode, it can handle up to 337.5A of current. It is an essential tool in high-power test environments and research labs since it can operate in four quadrants, provides programmable voltage control, and serves as a power amplifier for Power Hardware in the Loop (PHIL) simulations.

The NHR 9510-50 has a peak power rating of 50kW and current capabilities up to 300A in single-channel operation. Its DC output comprises comprehensive constant voltage, constant current, and constant power modes. Its dual-range output function improves accuracy and versatility, guaranteeing accuracy in both AC and DC testing conditions, which makes it perfect for a variety of simulation applications.

With its adjustable waveforms and pre-configured macros for fast, repeatable testing sequences, this grid simulator is made to mimic real-world grid disturbances like Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) incidents. In order to address different grid compliance and fault simulation tests, the NHR 9510-50 provides accurate control over sub-cycle and multi-cycle output variations. By offering comprehensive event-cycle tracking and facilitating more precise reporting and analysis, its integrated digital measurement system streamlines compliance testing with standards such as IEEE1547.1 and UL1741.

The NHR 9510-50 has a number of control options available to users. Simple, real-time operation is provided by an integrated touch panel; more sophisticated control is available via SCPI, VeriStand, or NI LabVIEW commands.
